Privacy Policy

Olde Tyme Family Barbershop ("we", "us", "our") respects your privacy. This page explains what information we collect when you visit oldetymefamilybarbershop.com or use our contact form, and how we use it. The short version: we only collect what you give us, we use it to respond, and we don't sell it.

1. Information we collect

We collect information from you in exactly one place — the contact form on the homepage. The form asks for the following, and stores nothing else:

• Name (required) — so we know who you are when we reply.
• Email address (required) — so we have somewhere to reply.
• Phone number (optional) — if you'd prefer a call back.
• Service of interest (optional) — to route your question to the right barber.
• Message (required) — whatever you'd like to say.

Submitting the form also briefly captures your IP address for spam protection (see "Bot protection" below). We do not collect any payment, identification, or health information — appointments and walk-ins are handled in person at the shop, not through this website.

2. How we use your information

We use what you submit only to respond to your message. Specifically:

• The contents of your form submission are emailed to the barbershop owner so we can read it and reply.
• You receive a brief confirmation email so you know the message arrived.

That's the entire purpose. We do not enroll you in mailing lists, retarget you with ads, track you across the web, or share your information for marketing.

3. Cookies and analytics

This site does not use marketing or analytics cookies. We do not run Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, Hotjar, or any similar tracker. The site stores a single small flag in your browser's session storage to remember that you've already seen the loading splash on this visit — that flag is cleared when you close the tab.

4. Bot protection

The contact form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, a privacy-focused alternative to traditional CAPTCHAs. Turnstile briefly checks signals from your browser to confirm you're human. Your IP address and basic browser information are sent to Cloudflare for this check — Cloudflare does not use this information to build advertising profiles. 5. How we store and deliver information

We use the following service providers strictly to run the website and deliver email:

• Cloudflare — hosts the website, serves images, and runs Turnstile bot protection.
• Resend — delivers the email notifications generated by the contact form.

These providers process information solely on our behalf to operate the site. We do not give them permission to use your information for their own purposes.

6. How long we keep it

Form submissions live in the barbershop owner's email inbox until manually deleted. We don't operate a separate customer database. If you'd like a previously sent message removed from our inbox, write to seantuna1@gmail.com and we'll delete it.

7. Your choices

You can:

• Not submit the form. Walk-ins are always welcome at 14306 Coastal Highway and you can call us directly at (410) 250-0207 without leaving any digital record.
• Request deletion of any previous submission by emailing seantuna1@gmail.com.
• Ask what we have — same email address.

8. Children

We are a family barbershop and welcome children in the chair. However, this website's contact form is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. Children are welcome to walk in with a parent or guardian; we just don't process their information online.

9. Changes to this policy

If we update this policy, the "Last updated" date at the top of the page will change. Material changes will be noted briefly here for at least 30 days after the update.
